This season, we've teamed up with other great professionals to partner with PIE IN THE SKY (part of Community Servings), a charity that sells pies each year at Thanksgiving to raise money towards feeding terminally ill patients and their families. You have the option of purchasing a pie for $25 or a raffle pie for $75, which includes an apple pie and the chance to win a great prize like tickets to a Celtics game or a trip to Newport, among other things. The pies are also really good. These are not store bought, frozen pies, mind you. Rather, each pie is made by a local chef, baker or caterer (from many well known establishments), who has donated his or her time. Once you order a pie or pies, there are over 40 pickup locations throughout eastern Massachusetts to choose from, so you can select a location that is convenient to you. Furthermore, if you order 25 or more pies a volunteer will personally deliver the pies to you. Orders need to be placed before November 18th, so please don’t delay!!!!
