It’s that time of year again! We’re selling Thanksgiving Pies on behalf of PIE IN THE SKY, a fundraiser on behalf of Community Servings which prepares and delivers nutritious meals to over 750 individuals and families with HIV/AIDS, cancer, Lupus, MS and other acute, life threatening illnesses.
Each pie is made by a local chef, baker or caterer, including the likes of Mistral, Lumiere, and Blue Ginger, just to name a few. You can choose from Apple, Pecan, Pumpkin and Sweet Potato pies. Pies sell for $25, and while you may be able to purchase a pie cheaper elsewhere, you won’t get one that’s tastier or more rewarding! For those big spenders, there are also special Raffle Pies for $75, which are gift-wrapped and include the chance to win one of ten fabulous prize packages.
Pies can be picked up the day before Thanksgiving. There are over 40 pickup locations throughout eastern Massachusetts, so you can select the location that is most convenient to you. Furthermore, if you order 20 or more pies (to be delivered to any one location), we’ll personally deliver them to you. And, if you’re going to be out of town during the holiday, please consider buying a pie to donate to one of the individuals or families mentioned above.
Last year, PIE IN THE SKY raised over $435,000.00 in support of Community Servings. Our pie-selling team, PIE IT FORWARD, raised close to $16,000.00! But, we’re out to top that this year! Please join us in raising money for this great cause.
